Our client is a leading global hedge fund looking to hire a Software Engineer to join its London Office. You will work closely with investment and business teams, designing and building solutions and products that improve operational efficiency and streamline processes across the business. Helping to deliver business analytics to a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Building products and frameworks for business-critical systems
  • Building custom full-stack applications
  • Problem-solving and stakeholder management
  • Creating automated solutions that deliver insights to users

Skills

  • Python
  • SQL / Pandas/ Snowflake / Starburst / Airflow
  • React, C#
  • Familiarity with reporting solutions - Dash / Power BI

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience post-graduation
  • A degree (ideally a Master’s) in Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • Experience in system design and owning components or features.
  • Experience working with complex data sets
