Software Engineer II - EDR Workflows - Security

In this role you design and implement user-facing workflows for Elastic Defend, shaping its management and response capabilities. You’ll work across security, product, and design to deliver scalable features that protect customers, with AI helping you accelerate solutions. You’ll collaborate with global teams to evolve OSquery forensics and SIEM foundations from the Kibana perspective. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a fast-moving security landscape.

• Develop UI features for Elastic Defend
• Shape the management and response actions framework with OSquery forensics
• Build scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem
• Write production-grade TypeScript/Node.js code (with potential other languages)
• Collaborate with other Elastic engineering teams on cross-team efforts
• Contribute to engineering standards, tooling, and AI-driven process improvements
• Participate in code reviews
• Collaborate on large product features from Kibana perspective
• Leverage AI to accelerate development work

• Proficiency with TypeScript/Node.js; ReactJS skills beneficial
• AI-informed development mindset
