Overview

In this role you will design, build, and troubleshoot secure, scalable software for electronic trading. You’ll work as part of an agile team to deliver high-quality solutions across a product or system, applying secure engineering practices and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with peers, use modern tooling, and own production outcomes through testing, reviews, and on-call support. This is an opportunity to develop full SDLC skills while contributing to reliable, low-latency trading technology.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, and deliver software for electronic trading systems from requirements to production rollout
  • Contribute to architecture decisions to ensure security, scalability, and resilience
  • Build low-latency, high-throughput services with performance, reliability, and correctness in mind
  • Integrate services with internal and external systems with robust interfaces and error handling
  • Own production outcomes via on-call/support, incident triage, root-cause analysis, and permanent fixes
  • Improve engineering standards through code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and refactoring
  • Contribute to an inclusive team culture and engage in communities of practice to evaluate emerging technologies
Key requirements
  • Strong OOP/design patterns understanding and clean code practices
  • Strong coding skills in Java and Spring with solid fundamentals
  • Proven experience across system design, application development, testing, and production support
  • Experience with FIX protocol
