Overview

As a Software Engineer II on the Global Payroll team, you will help advance a full-service payroll platform used by hundreds of thousands. You will own new functionality from the ground up and rearchitect components to scale the system. You will work closely with planning, code reviews, and mentorship to grow teammates and deliver rapid updates. The role combines technical impact with customer focus, contributing to a core product offering. This is an opportunity to shape payroll technology at a fast-growing company with autonomy and visible impact.

Responsibilities
  • Build features tackling high-scope technical problems
  • Participate in planning, code reviews, and team growth
  • Mentor Junior and Intermediate Engineers to increase autonomy
  • Continuously ship incremental updates at a rapid pace
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for production support
Key requirements
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong fundamentals in computer science and modern design patterns
  • Ability to debug and resolve issues autonomously
  • Product and customer focused mindset
  • Experience with Python, Django and React are a plus
