Overview

In this role you will design, develop and maintain high-performance Java services for JPMorgan’s liquidity and payments platform. You will work with a global team to deliver secure, scalable software, participate in architecture discussions, and contribute to code quality through testing and reviews. The role offers hands-on learning about liquidity tech, access to curated development programs, and exposure to enterprise AI-assisted development tools. You will impact real-time liquidity management used by clients worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop latency-sensitive code with security in mind
  • Write secure, high-quality code and automated tests
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex apps and ensure code meets constraints
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational stability of software and systems
  • Participate in communities of practice to promote modern technologies
  • Collaborate as part of a глобal team
  • Provide out of hours application support and coordinate production releases
  • Leverage AI-assisted coding tools while maintaining peer review and secure coding standards
  • Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to enhance automation value
Key requirements
  • Formal Java training or certification
  • Java 17+ fundamentals and Spring Boot
  • OO programming, multi-threading, messaging, networking
  • Experience with modern testing tools (JUnit, Mockito, Spring Test)
  • SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., CockroachDB)
  • Linux environment familiarity, containers, cloud architectures
  • Strong communication skills with global stakeholders
  • Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and responsible AI use
