Overview

In this role you contribute to market-leading software within the Asset & Wealth Management Client Service team. You build secure, scalable solutions and enhance the client digital experience. You work in an agile environment solving complex problems and applying engineering best practices. You’ll use enterprise AI coding tools judiciously to improve quality and speed, while upholding secure coding standards. This is a chance to shape high-impact financial technology for a global client base.

Responsibilities
  • Develop creative software solutions and perform design, development, and debugging to address technical problems
  • Contribute to expanding the digital experience offered to clients
  • Produce secure, high-quality production code and review peers’ code
  • Automate recurring issues to improve operational stability of software applications
  • Demonstrate initiative and ownership to improve team and product outcomes
  • Engage with communities of practice to learn and adopt new technologies
  • Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity
  • Apply SDLC tooling and automation capabilities to increase value delivered by automation
  • Promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect
Key requirements
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
  • Hands-on experience in system design, app development, testing, and operational stability
  • Backend development with Java and Spring
  • Frontend development with React and frontend testing frameworks
  • Experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms
  • Familiarity with automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience with agile methodologies including CI/CD, resilience, and security
  • Practical cloud-native experience
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools and ability to critically evaluate AI outputs
  • Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data handling, and security
