In this role you will contribute as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver secure, scalable cloud-native solutions for the firm. You will work on production-grade code and architecture artifacts that meet design constraints while aligning with public cloud standards. You’ll operate AWS-based services, identify patterns to improve systems, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost quality and velocity within a security-conscious environment. This is an opportunity to shape cloud capabilities that directly support critical business objectives.
Responsibilities- Execute software solutions and troubleshoot complex problems beyond routine approaches
- Produce secure, high-quality production code and maintain running algorithms
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex cloud-native applications
- Design, build, and operate resilient, scalable AWS-based services
- Identify hidden problems in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contribute to communities of practice and explore emerging cloud technologies
- Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity with peer review and secure coding standards
- Apply SDLC tools and automation to increase value and automation efficiency
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- Hands-on design, development, testing, and operational stability experience
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
- Hands-on AWS development experience—building, deploying, and operating production workloads
- Experience in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resilience, and Security
- Practical experience using AI-assisted developer tools to improve productivity and code quality
- Experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of inputs/outputs
