Overview

As a Software Engineer III on the Cash Account Platform, you help build real-time liquidity management tools used by senior executives and clients. You join a global Agile team delivering dashboards, cash forecasting, and funding functionality that support firmwide visibility into cash, credit, and collateral. You contribute to a cloud-native architecture and modern engineering practices that underpin risk management and reporting. You will collaborate across locations to solve complex problems and drive continuous improvement with secure, production-ready code.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions with a focus on reliability and performance
  • Create secure production code and maintain critical algorithms for financial systems
  • Analyze large data sets to generate visualizations and reporting for continuous improvement
  • Identify hidden data patterns to inform better architecture and code hygiene
  • Contribute to communities of practice and explore new technologies
  • Leverage enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and testing
  • Apply SDLC tools and automation to increase value delivered by automation
  • Promote a diverse, inclusive, and respectful team culture
Key requirements
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
  • Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability
  • Proficiency in Java 8+, and strong knowledge of the Java ecosystem
  • Solid understanding of the Spring framework
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Experience in large-scale development with modern languages and SQL
  • Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies, CI/CD, resiliency, and security practices
  • Experience with cloud, AI/ML, or mobile software concepts
  • Unix/Linux experience
  • Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI outputs
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and security requirements
