Overview

In this role you will design and deliver trusted, scalable software products within Wholesale Credit Risk to support firm objectives. You will contribute as an experienced member of an agile team, building secure production code and solving complex technical problems. You’ll use AI-assisted development tools while upholding secure coding and validation practices. You will produce architecture artifacts, analyze data for continuous improvement, and help ensure system resilience and performance. This is an opportunity to shape critical risk and credit systems at a global bank.

Responsibilities
  • Execute software solutions and troubleshoot complex technical problems beyond routine approaches
  • Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain relevant algorithms
  • Leverage enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and automated testing
  • Utilize SDLC tools and automation to maximize value from development efforts
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met
  • Gather and analyze large data sets to visualize and report for continuous improvement
  • Identify hidden data patterns and drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture
Key requirements
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering with practical experience
  • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Experience coding in one or more modern languages and with database querying languages
  • Hands-on use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools with ability to evaluate and refine AI outputs
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling, and security expectations
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile practices including CI/CD, resiliency, and security
