Overview

As a Software Engineer III for Infrastructure Platforms Cloud Foundation Services, you will build and scale the firm’s cloud provisioning foundation across public clouds. You’ll contribute to secure, reliable platform layers used by thousands of engineers and drive migration to a new provisioning capability. You’ll leverage AI-assisted development to boost quality and speed, while advocating firmwide frameworks and practices. This role blends hands-on coding with platform thinking in a high-impact, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code for the cloud provisioning platform (Azure-first) and review peers’ code
  • Contribute to product design, application functionality, and operational processes for reliability and scalability
  • Support consumer migration to the new provisioning capability, building automation to make migration repeatable
  • Leverage enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity with peer reviews and secure coding
  • Utilize SDLC tools and automation capabilities to improve automation value across projects
  • Contribute to the engineering community by promoting firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices across the SDLC
  • Influence peers and decision-makers to adopt leading-edge cloud technologies
  • Foster a team culture of diversity, inclusion, opportunity, and respect
Key requirements
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and ability to evaluate AI outputs
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, security, and resiliency expectations
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Azure; experience with other clouds (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or DevOps
  • Understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices
  • Proficiency across the full Software Development Life Cycle
