Overview
As an experienced Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within Global Technology, you join an agile team to design and deliver scalable, secure technology products. You will contribute to building trusted systems that power secure banking, trading, payments, or cloud integration initiatives. You work on end-to-end software development, from design and coding to troubleshooting and production stability, while leveraging data-driven insights to improve architecture and performance. You will collaborate across teams to shape resilient platforms and drive continuous improvement, with a strong focus on impact and security.
Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable, resilient systems using Python
- Execute software solutions from design to production, including debugging and troubleshooting
- Produce secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms synchronized with systems
- Contribute to architecture and design artifacts ensuring constraints are met
- Analyze large, diverse data sets to visualize and report for continuous improvement
- Identify hidden data patterns to drive coding hygiene and system architecture improvements
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events on new technologies
- Foster team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing and operational stability
- Proficient in Python
- Experience with large corporate environments and modern programming languages and database querying
- Knowledge of SDLC, AWS exposure, troubleshooting, resiliency, and automation focus
- Understanding of agile methods (CI/CD, Application Resiliency, Security)
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in technical disciplines (cloud, AI/ML, mobile, etc.)
