As a Software Engineer III in JPMorganChase’s Commercial & Investment Bank, you design and deliver scalable, secure technology for a high-performance Payments system. You work within an agile team to build trusted products that support the firm’s business objectives and improve software quality through automation and data-driven insights. You will shape test automation, contribute to architecture, and collaborate with global teams to solve complex problems. This role offers impact in scaling payments technology and driving continuous improvement in a large corporate environment.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for a complex Payments system
- Architect and build test automation solutions and reference services using Java to validate functionality and performance
- Apply test automation frameworks to enhance the overall test landscape
- Execute software solutions, design and troubleshoot beyond routine approaches
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications ensuring design constraints
- Gather, analyze, and visualize large data sets to drive software improvements
- Identify hidden problems in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contribute to communities of practice and explore new technologies
- Collaborate on a global team and conduct detailed peer code reviews
- Work with stakeholders to define test requirements and strategies
- Hands-on Python, Playwright/Selenium, Pytest, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience delivering multiple automation projects with diverse stakeholders under pressure
- Developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using Python and SQL
- Experience in FAST API, Web UI, API, and Database automation
- Experience with CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security in Agile environments
- Ability to own deliverables and maintain high quality and timelines
- Solid understanding of HTTP and REST APIs
- Experience handling large volumes of input files (CSV, JSON, XML)
