Overview

In this role, you will design and deliver robust software for mission-critical payments platforms, focusing on reliability, performance, and automation. You will work with cross-functional teams to stabilize and scale complex systems, addressing incidents and proactively improving service quality. You will implement infrastructure as code, monitor systems, and contribute to a culture of learning and inclusion. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to shape resilient, cloud-based solutions at a global financial institution.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement robust software solutions to enhance reliability and performance
  • Create and maintain automation for deployment, monitoring, and operations to reduce manual work
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production incidents, and proactively resolve issues
  • Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for applications and platforms
  • Use service level indicators and objectives to prevent customer impact
  • Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to improve reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Document processes, share knowledge, and contribute to communities of practice and emerging technologies
  • Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect
Key requirements
  • Experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or related fields
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Solid understanding of agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
  • Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .NET)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in teams
