In this role you will own the technical direction and delivery of a high‑performance, low‑latency eTrading UI application used by a globally distributed trading audience. You will lead a UI development team, collaborate with regional partners, and drive architectural choices to ensure scalable, maintainable front‑office UI solutions. You’ll champion best practices and work across cross‑functional teams to deliver fast, reliable UI products that meet business goals. Responsibilities
  • Own the technical direction and delivery of high‑performance, low‑latency eTrading UI across global desks and regions
  • Lead, mentor and manage a UI development team onshore and offshore
  • Manage end‑to‑end development stream: roadmap sequencing, sprint planning, dependency management
  • Architect and govern the UI layer: components, threading, data binding for low latency and high throughput
  • Collaborate with technology partners and business groups to deliver high quality UI products
  • Engage with end users to understand requirements and feed into the UI roadmap
  • Promote development practices: pairing, code reviews, unit and regression testing
Key requirements
  • Science / Engineering Degree
  • C# and WPF – expert level, full WPF stack mastery, dispatcher and performance of data‑bound UIs under high update conditions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across stakeholder groups
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in complex UI development with multi‑threading and low‑latency messaging
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX/Solaris and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with versioning tools (GIT) and transport layers (TCP/WebSocket)
  • Experience with Refinitiv, Tibco Rendezvous
  • ng debugging and profiling tools on Linux/Windows
