Software Engineer – Infrastructure and Automation

In this role you will build internal systems and automation to support research and trading. You will work across Linux infrastructure, scheduling, config management, monitoring, and deployment, reducing manual effort and enabling scale. The role sits in an engineering-first culture with real ownership and cross-team impact. You will help improve reliability and self-service for infrastructure, while tackling challenging, low-latency environments. This is an opportunity to shape internal tooling that underpins a fast, high-performance trading platform.

• Build and maintain internal systems such as job schedulers, monitoring stacks, and automation tools
• Improve reliability, repeatability, and self-service across infrastructure
• Write clean, efficient code (primarily Go, Python, Bash)
• Support traditional infrastructure such as servers, switches, and storage systems
• Participate in a shared on-call rota across the team

• Strong programming skills in Go or Python, plus comfort with Bash and C
• Solid understanding of Linux internals and TCP/IP networking
• Experience developing infrastructure tools or system-level automation
• Familiar with Git, CI/CD, and testable development practices
• Able to design solutions for real usage across the firm
