Software Engineer, Integrations

In this role, you will help power North, Cohere’s secure AI workspace platform, by building and maintaining the data integrations that connect enterprise data to AI agents. You will own the end-to-end integration pipeline and enable other engineers to add new tools, ensuring reliability as the platform evolves. You’ll create evals and tests to validate integrations and tune tool descriptions for performance. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, data-driven AI capabilities that fit real enterprise workflows.

• Build new integrations (tools) on the North agentic platform and maintain existing ones in production
• Own the integration pipeline end-to-end from design to shipping and ongoing maintenance
• Foster adoption by helping other engineers add integrations and raising execution standards
• Create evals and tests to verify integrations and detect/regressions
• Tune tool descriptions to improve performance based on feedback and evals
• Use AI actively while ensuring quality and reliability of shipped work

• Shipped production code and built integrations against external APIs
• Familiarity with evaluating agentic systems (ideal) or willingness to engage with evals and prompt engineering
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
