Overview

In this role you will help design, build, and maintain Virtu's low-latency trading infrastructure. You will work across the full trade lifecycle with a focus on scalability and efficiency, partnering with cross-functional teams to meet evolving business needs. You’ll contribute to high-performance tools and systems that serve hundreds of clients across a global market. Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain proprietary, low-latency trading systems and infrastructures
  • Develop powerful trading tools leveraging the high-performance platform
  • Improve scalability and performance of the trading infrastructure
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions for future requirements
  • Handle a range of projects from frontend to backend in multiple programming languages
  • Contribute to the end-to-end trading lifecycle including order management, connectivity, routing, internalisation, and clearing
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience building distributed and scalable software in Java, Go, or C++
  • Driven, self-starting with peer leadership and initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
