In this role you will design, develop and maintain Java-based decisioning software that powers smarter, faster business decisions at scale. You will work in a collaborative Agile environment, contributing to the full software lifecycle and delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions. You’ll collaborate with product, architecture and engineering peers to evolve the decisioning platform and resolve production issues when needed. This hybrid Nottingham role offers impact at scale and opportunities to grow your technical expertise while delivering real business value.

- Design, develop and maintain software primarily using Java
- Build new features and enhance existing capabilities within the decisioning platforms
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, Architects and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and support
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Investigate and resolve production issues when required
- Support continuous improvement across engineering practices, tooling and processes
- Experience programming with Java
- Understanding of object-oriented design principles and software engineering best practices
- Experience with Git or similar source control
- Experience working in Agile development teams
- Understanding of automated testing and quality engineering practices
