As a Software Engineering Manager, you guide both strategy and execution to align with the company’s broader goals. You set team priorities, shape mid-term technical direction, and oversee the roadmap for scalable systems. You lead architecture decisions, review code, and coach engineers to achieve high-quality delivery. You operate across teams and locations to drive impact in AI-enabled health and home platforms, balancing technical excellence with people leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Set team priorities aligned with organizational goals
  • Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams
  • Set expectations for individuals and provide performance coaching
  • Develop mid-term technical direction and roadmap; evolve it with future infrastructure needs
  • Design, guide, and vet system designs; write code to solve complex problems
  • Review others’ code to ensure best practices, quality, and efficiency
Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of software development experience
  • 3 years developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or related compute/storage technologies
  • 3 years in a technical leadership role
  • 2 years in a people management or team leadership role
