The Company My client is one of UKs leading manufacturers of turnkey machinery solutions to a wide variety of fast moving manufacturing industries. They have over 100 employees on site in Bromborough. With a growing presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within a variety of food machinery solutions to the manufacturing industry. Due to further expansion within the British market, they have the need to recruit an additional software PLC engineer. Key Skills HNC/HND or Equivalent Electrical Engineer PLC Programmer, ideally with Automated Process Machinery Understanding of FMCG Industry The Role Develop,test,andcommissionPLCandHMIsoftwarefor processing andpackaging
equipment.
Establish
and
manage
a
remote
support
system
for
engineers
and
customers.
Provide
remote
and
on-site
support
diagnosing
faults,
guiding
repairs,
and
implementing
softwareupdates.
Travel
across
the
UK
&
Ireland
(approx.
4050%)
for
commissioning,
integration,
and
technical
support.
Collaborate
with
mechanical,
electrical,
and
project
teams
on
complete
automation
solutions.
Maintainsoftwaredocumentation,systemstandards,andremoteaccessprocedures. Ensure
compliance
with
electrical
and
safety
standards
and
contribute
to
continuous improvement.
Ideally you will be an e xperienced
PLC
Programmer
/
Automation
Engineer
with
strong
electrical
knowledge.
Skilled
in
Siemens
S7
/
TIA
Portal,
Allen-Bradley,
Mitsubishi,
Fuji,
Lenze. Background
in
capital
equipment,
packaging,
or
process
automation
would
be
