Overview
In this role you will help accelerate delivery by building and maintaining an automated testing framework that boosts product quality. You will collaborate with global developers, testers and stakeholders to refine testing requirements and craft strategies for highly integrated applications. You drive the automation approach, documentation and standards within the Engineering Productivity team. This is a chance to shape testing practices in a fast-paced financial tech environment and contribute to higher-quality releases.
Responsibilities- Contribute to architecture, design and implementation of an automated testing framework to shorten time-to-market and improve product quality
- Collaborate with developers, testers and stakeholders worldwide to refine technical requirements for the test framework
- Design testing strategies and heuristics for heavily integrated applications
- Create and maintain specification documents for the automation framework
- 2-3 years of Python programming experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong general programming and software design skills
- Familiarity with C++ and ability to read it
- Understanding of networks and Linux systems and testing server-level systems
- Familiarity with TCP/IP-based protocols and knowledge of OSI model
- Strong experience with Git
- Experience with modern methodologies such as BDD or TDD
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Finance industry experience and QA in trading systems are a strong plus
- Knowledge of kernel bypass network cards and FPGA is a strong plus
