Software Engineer, Real-Time

In this role you contribute to a global, low-latency market data platform that streams billions of price updates daily. You will build APIs, telemetry pipelines and monitoring services to reveal how reliably data reaches customers, working with seasoned engineers to improve production software and observability. You’ll translate software signals into actionable insights for cross-functional teams across a distributed system. This early-career, hands-on role focuses on real-time fintech infrastructure and cloud-native engineering, offering hands-on growth at scale.

- Build and enhance components that aggregate and present data from 30+ global sites
- Develop data-processing logic to identify performance issues and hotspots
- Contribute telemetry pipelines for metrics, logs and traces to a unified observability layer
- Deliver synthetic monitoring to assess Real-Time services worldwide
- Develop APIs, automation and config for observability capabilities
- Use Git, CI/CD and configuration-as-code for consistent deployments
- Collaborate with squads to instrument applications across Development, Test, PPE and Production
- Learn modern observability, distributed systems and cloud-native approaches with expert engineers
- Contribute ideas to evolve the Real-Time observability platform
- Hands-on software engineering experience (employment, graduate role or open-source)
- Ability to write in performance-oriented languages such as Go, C++ or Rust
- Strong understanding of core software engineering concepts
- Familiarity with APIs, Git and modern development practices
- Interest in market data, observability, distributed systems, telemetry, data pipelines or cloud-native tech
- Analytical and problem-solving ability in complex domains
- Willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies and systems
