Software Engineer - Realtime Quant Frameworks

In this role you will help run and optimize a large-scale, automated trading research platform. You’ll build and maintain systems that streamline workload distribution across massive compute farms and provide real-time support to researchers. You’ll contribute to the core scheduling platform and developer-facing tooling, enabling quants to deploy and run experiments efficiently. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to scale systems and accelerate discovery in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.

- Develop and maintain the core scheduling platform that distributes workloads across large compute farms
- Provide real-time support to keep research workflows running smoothly
- Contribute to a TypeScript/React UI and an F# ASP.NET service with Postgres on Kubernetes
- Enable quants to build and deploy research platforms and express computations over streaming data
- Extend tooling and frameworks to support high-performance, scalable research compute
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to reduce complexity of running workloads
- Extensive background in software engineering, ideally in distributed or high-performance systems
- Production experience with F#, C#, Python or similar languages
- Experience with Python in research or data-driven workflows
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and relational databases
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work closely with quantitative researchers
