Overview

In this role you contribute to Webex Real-time Media Engineering by developing features end-to-end in an agile setting. You will work on a highly available microservices stack and contribute to AI-enabled productivity tools. You collaborate with a supportive team to grow skills and deliver robust real-time collaboration experiences. The role blends development, DevOps, and on-call responsibilities in a hybrid London team, offering impact on large-scale communication products.

Responsibilities
  • Full lifecycle development in an agile team
  • Contribute to DevOps and microservices ownership, including on-call rotation
  • Tackle varied technical challenges with a data-driven, quality-focused mindset
  • Own features end-to-end, including automated testing and issue investigation
  • Contribute to AI-enabled workflows and productivity enhancements
  • Participate in mentorship and formal training to grow skills
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's or higher in an analytical subject
  • 3+ years of programming in Rust or C++, with willingness to learn other languages
  • Experience with Linux development
  • Experience with virtualization and containers, including Docker
