Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and build integration frameworks and platform capabilities that connect AI technologies with the Infor MES platform and broader Manufacturing portfolio. You’ll create tools, APIs, and orchestration patterns enabling AI services to interact with manufacturing processes and data at scale. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll help establish reusable foundations for AI across the product line and deliver production-ready AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement integrations between MES services and AI platforms
  • Develop connectors, orchestration services, and reusable frameworks for tool execution and agent interaction
  • Build secure APIs and service layers exposing MES capabilities to AI-enabled solutions
  • Define integration standards and architectural approaches with the Principal AI Lead
  • Collaborate with cloud, product, and engineering teams to deliver AI-enabled manufacturing solutions
  • Support intelligent workflows across production, quality, maintenance, inventory, and operations
  • Design event-driven integration patterns using cloud-native approaches
  • Evaluate emerging AI integration technologies and engineering practices
  • Contribute to engineering standards around security, observability, and maintainability
  • Mentor and support other engineers as AI capabilities scale across the org
Key requirements
  • Enterprise software or platform delivery experience
  • Hands-on development with C# and .NET
  • Experience building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures
  • Experience designing integrations between enterprise apps and services
  • Cloud-native development experience (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of architecture, security, scalability, reliability, and observability
  • Experience with event-driven and asynchronous integration patterns
  • Experience with relational databases and modern data access tech
  • Experience developing reusable frameworks, libraries, or platform components
  • Strong problem-solving skills and independent work style
