Location: Hybrid - Downtown Toronto - 3 days a week

This role contributes to large-scale services, plugin registries, runtime, and rendering capabilities supporting new AI experiences. The position offers direct impact on high-scale consumer-facing applications and services within an AI-driven platform transformation.

Must Haves

• 5+ years of backend development using Java
• Experience building and operating large-scale consumer-facing web applications and services
• Proficiency in server-side technologies, cloud technologies , web development, and the desire to work in a multi-disciplinary team operating in a DevOps model.
• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kotlin
• Expertise in service design, discovery, and runtime orchestration systems
• Experience building and operating high traffic services and APIs

Responsibilities

• Drive large-scale projects from inception to production
• Interface directly with stakeholders to support delivery
• Mentor team members and support team growth
• Operate in a fast-moving environment to deliver outcomes
• Investigate critical issues and apply learnings to the product and team
• Build web applications, services, and APIs for AI-native experiences
