Overview

As a Software Engineer at Darktrace, you will prototype and develop new features to enhance our AI-powered cybersecurity services. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver fast, scalable solutions while exploring unknown cyber-attack defenses. The role blends innovative prototyping with structured platform development, shaping how we defend customers at scale. You will grow your programming chops across languages and technologies in a fast-moving, impact-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prototype and develop new ideas to improve services and offerings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, project coordinators and technical strategists
  • Advance methods for defending against unknown cyber-attacks
  • Balance innovation with structured development of existing platforms
  • Develop core competencies in multiple programming languages with opportunities to specialize
Key requirements
  • Primary programming language is TypeScript
  • Able to work autonomously and in a team
  • Knowledgeable or interested in cyber-security and malware forensics
  • Experience in statistical analysis of static or dynamic systems
  • Familiar with Docker and containerization
  • Knowledge of cloud computing environments (beneficial)
  • Experience with other languages such as JavaScript, Python, Rust, C++ (beneficial)
