In this role you will lead a talented software engineering team to deliver cutting-edge software solutions. You will shape engineering practices, set technical direction, and ensure on-time, high-quality releases. Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers to foster a high-performance culture
  • Define and evolve engineering standards, practices, and design approaches for continuous improvement
  • Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle from architecture to release
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet critical project milestones
  • Oversee the implementation and optimisation of wireless communication software across heterogeneous platforms
  • Act as technical touchpoint for customers, managing updates, requirements, and issue resolution
  • Support career development, coaching and knowledge sharing to grow engineers' potential
Key requirements
  • Proven experience leading successful software engineering teams
  • Extensive embedded software development knowledge for performance-critical or high-throughput apps
  • Track record in designing, developing, validating embedded or high-performance computing software
  • Ability to translate complex technical ideas into actionable development plans
  • Experience with CI/CD, planning tools, and agile methodologies
  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of wireless communications principles or willingness to develop expertise
