Software Engineering Manager

In this Engineering Manager role, you lead a domain-focused engineering team within Kaluza, guiding technical and product direction to deliver value for clients. You’ll mentor engineers, align delivery with client needs, and collaborate with product managers and success teams to shape the roadmap. While not coding daily, you’ll contribute to discussions with broader context and ensure engineering excellence and delivery outcomes. • Manage teams of engineers (up to 10 direct reports) and drive talent development
• Contribute to technical and product vision to ensure successful delivery
• Provide strategic technical guidance and unblock impediments
• Collaborate with clients, product managers and client success teams to deliver real value
• Drive the technical roadmap and strategy for the area
• Champion operational excellence and enable high-performing teams
• Remove blockers to meet product delivery objectives

• Experience in Engineering Management with high-performing cross-functional teams
• Passion for growing and mentoring engineers
• Strong client relationship skills with proactive communication
• Fundamental understanding of Agile and lean development
• Excellent communication skills with senior leaders
• Experience in client-facing roles or solutions engineering/consulting (advantageous)
