• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing software engineering team with a collaborative culture
• Oversee planning, delivery, and alignment of software initiatives to business goals and customer outcomes
• Drive engineering standards, practices, and technical roadmap with senior engineers
• Ensure quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability of systems
• Champion cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, and Delivery partners
• Hold vendors and partners accountable for delivery quality and timelines
• Challenge solution architecture to fit business requirements and promote optimal technical solutions

• Experience leading senior software engineers and delivering high-quality software at scale
• Strong understanding of system design, cloud, and standard software engineering methodologies
• Hands-on, polyglot software engineer with expertise across web and backend systems
• Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and workload across multiple projects
• Promoter of DevOps principles (build it, run it) and reliability engineering
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without prescribing solutions
