Software Engineering Manager - ThousandEyes

As Engineer Manager on the Endpoint team, you lead a group focused on delivering fast trouble-shooting and long-term analysis of end-user experience. You will drive backend infrastructure to ingest, aggregate, and store agent data, collaborating across product and tech units to deliver assurance use cases. You’ll shape the team's technical roadmap, scale data processing, and mentor engineers to grow with the organization. This role combines leadership with hands-on architecture at scale, in a mission to give customers unparalleled visibility into end-user connectivity.

• Collaborate with product and technical leaders to deliver assurance use cases
• Lead the backend infrastructure team to ingest, aggregate, and store agent data
• Oversee data processing and availability at scale as the footprint grows
• Manage the career growth and development of team members

• 4+ years of software engineering management experience leading teams of 4+ engineers
• Experience formulating a team's technical strategy and roadmap and collaborating with multiple teams
• 5+ years of hands-on experience building distributed enterprise architectures with delivering major features from inception to production
• Strong proponent of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and engineering practices like Test-Driven Development
• Ability to balance tactical needs with strategic, multi-quarter growth and quality initiatives
