In this role, you lead a cross-functional engineering team delivering front-office software for Rates & FX within an Agile, CI/CD-focused environment. You set and enforce engineering standards across regions, aligning solutions with the IT strategy while owning delivery quality and timelines. You will experiment with new technologies to improve speed and reliability, and communicate progress while mitigating risks. This position offers impact at the core of TP ICAP’s market infrastructure, shaping high-performance, cloud-native systems for global clients.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team delivering front-office solutions for Rates & FX
- Collaborate with principal engineers to establish engineering standards
- Partner with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architecture to align solutions with IT strategy
- Own delivery quality and ensure solutions meet business requirements and timelines
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies and methods
- Proactively communicate progress and raise impediments early to minimize delivery impact
- Proven track record leading high-performance agile engineering teams
- Design and maintain distributed, event-driven, cloud-native systems
- Expertise in .NET Framework and .NET Core (C#)
- Experience with API design (REST, GraphQL)
- Relational DB design/optimization (MSSQL, MySQL)
- Cloud deployment and management (AWS, Azure)
- Full SDLC involvement from design to post-release support
- Delivery-focused with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Experience building automated testing for complex systems
