Overview
In this role you will help design, build, and sustain the trading infrastructure that powers a global algo-focused business. You will work within a focused engineering team to improve platforms, automate complex tasks, and reduce redundancy across the organisation. You’ll evaluate new technologies and methodologies to fit our high-scale operations, while supporting and guiding teammates in maintaining reliable systems. This is a hands-on opportunity in a fast-moving fintech environment with a strong emphasis on collaboration and technical excellence.

- Improve platforms for smoother interaction and utilization of infrastructure across teams through design, development and enhancements
- Establish guidelines to reduce redundancy and foster cross-team collaboration and reuse
- Automate intricate processes across multiple systems to streamline manual tasks
- Provide guidance and support to teammates in maintaining and servicing developed systems
- Assess modern technologies and development practices for integration into operations
- Maintain and update existing infrastructure and tools as needed
- Participate in discussions related to third-party systems from a commercial perspective
- Proficiency in Go; Python or C also acceptable
- Strong automation passion and experience
- Expertise with Linux (RedHat / Debian), TCP/IP networking, and storage technologies
- Extensive experience with Git, IDEs, CI/CD, and test-driven development
