Software Firmware Developer Intern

Develop C#, C/C++, and Python applications as a Software/Firmware Developer Intern in Saskatoon, supporting agricultural equipment systems. This contract internship includes desktop, mobile, and embedded development.

At Bourgault Industries, you will support software and firmware development across agricultural equipment. The 12- or 16-month internship includes coding, testing, debugging, hardware integration, and documentation. You will participate in requirements gathering, feature implementation, prototype testing, field validation, and collaborative engineering work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, debug, and document applications
• Participate in requirements gathering and program design
• Support prototype assembly, testing, and field validation
• Integrate features and resolve software and hardware issues
• Analyze system performance and reliability

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in engineering or computer science
• Eligible for your college's internship program
• Proficient in C, C++, C#, and Python
• Experience with test automation and unit testing
• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities
