As Software Manager, you own the software engineering function for embedded software driving vacuum technology. Responsibilities
  • Guide the software engineering function to align with industry standards and company objectives
  • Oversee design and development of embedded software and HMIs for vacuum equipment
  • Define engineering strategies ensuring robust hardware/software integration
  • Mentor and manage a high-performing engineering team
  • Collaborate with project management, hardware engineering, test engineering and manufacturing
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and emerging technologies
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and product quality
  • Provide software architecture and delivery expertise across languages and lifecycles
Key requirements
  • At least 5 years managing software/IT teams or complex projects with successful scalable software delivery
  • Experience coaching and developing engineering talent
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, process optimization, and change leadership
  • Background in complex enterprise environments with cross-functional exposure
  • Understanding of aligning software delivery with business strategy
  • Proficiency in vendor management, budgeting, resource planning, and risk assessment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills bridging technical and business teams
