THE SENIOR QA ENGINEER ROLE
As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll own quality within your project team, this means taking on a hands‑on role across test planning, automation, execution and continuous improvement.
You will be designing and maintaining automated test scripts, help develop the wider automation framework and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. As part of your role you will also cover areas including regression, performance, load and wider non-functional testing.
Alongside hands‑on delivery, as a Senior you’ll coach other QA Engineers and work closely with Developers to embed a quality‑first approach throughout the software development lifecycle.
SENIOR QA ENGINEER – ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Experience with tools such as Playwright, Selenium, JUnit or TestNG
Strong knowledge of test planning, test case design and execution
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Strong debugging, analytical and problem‑solving skills
Experience coaching or mentoring other QA Engineers
