As a Software Quality Engineer I, you ensure high-quality Turnitin applications through automated and manual testing within an Agile team. You design test strategies, execute tests, and contribute to modern QA and AI-enabled testing initiatives. You collaborate with developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers to identify risks and improve release quality. This role offers growth in framework architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and broad test strategy design within a globally impacting education platform.

- Define, develop, and implement QA best practices and test assets with the Scrum team
- Design, write, execute, and maintain automated and manual tests across functional, regression, integration, and scalability testing
- Collaborate with development teams to validate functionality across platforms and environments during releases
- Investigate, triage, and track defects through resolution
- Identify quality risks early in the Agile cycle and contribute to mitigation plans
- Research and integrate modern QA tools and AI-driven testing capabilities to boost efficiency and coverage
- Pursue ongoing professional growth in test framework architecture and CI/CD pipelines
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of software quality engineering experience
- Hands-on UI web automation and API automation using Java, Python, Jenkins, Docker, Maven, GitHub
- Strong understanding of STLC and QA methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD/CT tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
- Practical experience in Agile (Scrum & Kanban)
- Knowledge of AI-driven testing capabilities is advantageous
