Software Security Technical Lead

In this role, you will own software security across an established product portfolio and shape secure architectures. You’ll partner with engineering teams to embed security throughout the lifecycle from development to release and maintenance. You will influence architecture, engineering standards, and security strategy, working in a hands-on technical leadership capacity. The opportunity combines architectural influence with practical security implementation on complex hardware and software products.

• Own software security across the product portfolio
• Influence technical architecture, engineering standards and security strategy
• Shape secure architectures and support secure design decisions
• Embed security throughout the product lifecycle from development to release and maintenance
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security standards

• Strong background in software engineering, product security or software security
• Experience securing software within physical products, connected devices or embedded systems
• Knowledge of secure architecture, threat modelling, vulnerability management and secure development practices
• Experience establishing security standards and working with engineering teams to implement them
• Familiarity with Embedded Linux, Android or the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) would be beneficial
