Software Team Leader

As Software Team Leader you will guide delivery of software work packages for mission-critical projects. You’ll manage budgets, schedules and progress reporting while ensuring quality and alignment with project priorities. You’ll lead and support engineers, fostering development and wellbeing within a growing software team. You will collaborate with project managers, systems engineers, and stakeholders to coordinate dependencies and strategic delivery. • Lead and manage software engineering work packages to meet milestones and quality standards
• Oversee budgets, costs and schedule with clear progress reporting
• Lead and support engineers, ensuring appropriate skills and professional development
• Collaborate with project managers, systems engineers and stakeholders to align technical delivery with priorities
• Contribute to strategic planning and coordinate cross-team dependencies to enable delivery

• Proven experience leading a software engineering team in relevant product markets/domains (e.g., real time displays, safety-related systems)
• Experience assigning work packages and balancing quality, schedule and budget
• Experience across multiple software lifecycle activities (requirements, design, modelling/simulation, integration/verification)
• Familiarity with DOORS, Siemens Polarion, and CAMEO; programming in C and/or Assembler; Python scripting
• Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant Scientific/Engineering subject
