Software Tech Lead

In this role you guide the technical development of Riverlane's DF-AMO software stack for scalable quantum error correction, collaborating with engineering, research, product and customers. You shape the technical roadmap and ensure a production-ready system that meets latency and throughput needs. You mentor a growing team and foster a collaborative delivery culture in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment. • Own the technical development of the DF-AMO product
• Collaborate with engineering, research, product and customer teams
• Turn decoding technology into a scalable, production-ready system
• Shape the technical roadmap and future product direction
• Evaluate trade-offs for performance, maintainability and scalability
• Mentor and develop a team of 5+ engineers
• Foster a culture of collaboration and delivery

• Proven experience leading small to medium technical efforts (5+ people)
• Excellent software skills in C++, Python beneficial
• Comfortable learning quantum error correction fundamentals
• Experience delivering complex software products from concept to deployment and customer adoption
• Experience line managing other engineers
• Strong collaboration and communication with a diverse team
• Expert-level understanding in at least one: performant multi-process software, modern compiler infrastructures, GPU-accelerated computing
