Overview

In this role you will drive end-to-end software testing and proving for simulation software releases within an agile development environment. You’ll ensure compliance, quality, and readiness for certification, collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and report testing activities. The position supports risk-informed validation and final certification, contributing to mission-critical aerospace programs. This is a hands-on role that shapes test strategy and delivers clear, actionable test results with impact on release readiness.

Responsibilities
  • Test/Proving Planning: translate customer needs into test bed requirements; design and specify test plans and test sets
  • Test/Proving Execution: conduct testing across the software lifecycle; lead defect testing and data analysis
  • Test/Proving Reporting: provide updates to project leads; generate test and analysis reports for certification; support release and final certification activities
Key requirements
  • Software testing and quality assurance experience in C++
  • Test automation knowledge
  • Experience analysing software logs and data
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience using GitLab, JIRA, and scripting languages
  • Exposure to IBM PLM / ALM / ETM / DOORS or similar requirements management tools
  • Working knowledge of Agile / Scrum
  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
