Overview

In this role you will drive systems integration and verification activities within the Weapon System Simulation and Experimentation team. You will shape testing strategies for digital simulation products and support certification and delivery processes. You will work closely with engineering partners and stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze data, and report on software functionality. This is a mission-driven position with opportunities to influence system readiness in a defence context.

Responsibilities
  • Test/Proving planning and requirements understanding from a proving perspective
  • Design and specify test beds and plans; conduct progressive assurance testing during software development
  • Support defect investigations, external software integration, and data analysis of logs
  • Perform formal qualification testing and write test/analysis reports for certification
  • Provide regular updates to project leads and stakeholders; assist software delivery and certification processes
Key requirements
  • Experience in systems verification and validation (V&V) with emphasis on proving
  • Knowledge of weapons systems and their integration
  • Proficiency with Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, Python scripting, IBM ALM ETM/Doors, PLM, Excel, and basic Macros
  • Ability to analyze data and understand system perspectives across stakeholders
  • Experience in functional and/or software testing
  • Knowledge of project delivery, milestones, risk monitoring, and contingency planning
  • Strong self-management
