Software Validation Engineer

Overview

In this role you will validate complex SoC devices, focusing on Python-driven test and automation. You will develop automated test and regression frameworks to support pre- and post-silicon validation while collaborating with IC design, embedded software, hardware and systems teams. The position offers the chance to work on advanced silicon and embedded systems within the space sector, contributing to robust, scalable validation workflows. You will engage with lab equipment and cross-functional engineering efforts to shape reliable connectivity solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test frameworks and regression environments
• Support pre- and post-silicon validation for SoC devices
• Collaborate with IC design, embedded software, hardware and systems teams
• Work with laboratory equipment as part of validation activities
• Contribute to validation of complex electronic products

• Strong Python programming experience for test, automation or validation
• Experience developing automated test frameworks and regression environments
• Experience with embedded systems, hardware or complex electronic products
• Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers or signal generators
• Experience collaborating with software, hardware and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Ideally exposure to SoC validation, FPGA prototyping, DSP, wireless or RF systems
