Solution Architect

In this role, you will design, implement, and lead development teams on Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CE projects. You will translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure scalable, robust solutions. You’ll guide cross-functional teams, drive architecture decisions, and mentor junior developers. The role emphasizes integration, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement with AI/Copilot initiatives. • Design and implement end-to-end Power Platform and D365 solutions from business requirements
• Lead development teams, ensuring alignment with best practices and patterns
• Design and implement integrations via APIs and third‑party solutions
• Create architecture diagrams, high-level and detailed designs, configurations, and user guides
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for users and technical staff
• Oversee application lifecycle management of solutions
• Perform code reviews and promote coding best practices
• Mentor and train junior developers
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, including wider use of Copilot and AI

• Architecture experience leading design and development with Microsoft Power Platform (Canvas, Model-driven, Power Pages, Copilot Studio) and Dynamics 365
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering enterprise-scale solutions
• Experience customising Power Platform and D365 with Power Automate, .NET plugins, and JavaScript
• Proven experience architecting and delivering integrations using APIs, middleware, and third-party platforms
• Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid for scalable integrations
• Microsoft stack proficiency (.NET, JavaScript, ASP.NET, C#) for plugins and custom integrations
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments; Azure DevOps for CI/CD
• Ability to define non-functional requirements and work with testing strategies/tools
• Excellent customer engagement and requirements gathering skills
• SC clearance eligibility (5 years UK address history)
• Knowledge of architectural modelling tools/frameworks (Sparx EA, TOGAF, ArchiMate)
