Solution Architect – AI Capability

In this role you will act as an AI-focused Solution Architect within an energy trading context, driving architectural guidance and assurance for AI-enabled projects. You’ll collaborate with the AI Capability Team to translate standards into practical designs, solving technical challenges and aligning solutions with Shell reference architectures. You will work autonomously while engaging with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant architectures that support front-office transformation.

• Provide solution architecture development, consultancy and assurance to projects
• Ensure applications are well designed and conform to Shell standards and reference architectures
• Translate guidelines into practical architecture and solve technical challenges
• Work within company frameworks and policies with occasional guidance
• Use standard architecture tools (IBM System Architect, PowerDesigner, ProVision)
• Engage with Project Managers and Business Teams to align on architecture decisions
• Understand and apply the IT Strategic Roadmap within the organizational assignment
• Leverage reference architectures for Cloud, Mobile, Integration, OpenSource, Big Data
• Contribute to AI-focused initiatives in Energy Trading projects
