Solution Architect (Cloud and AI)

In this role, you design cloud-first solutions and govern the technology estate to enable scalable, customer-focused outcomes. You’ll work closely with business and engineering stakeholders to translate opportunities into pragmatic architectures, guiding patterns and integration approaches. The position sits in the Solution Architecture team within a CIO-focused, collaborative environment, supporting AI delivery from PoC to production. You will influence design decisions and promote reusable components to drive strategic cloud initiatives.

• Design and govern cloud-first solutions across platforms and services
• Lead architecture assessments and decision-making, defining patterns and integration approaches
• Evolve roadmaps, promote reuse, and ensure alignment with architecture principles
• Translate business opportunities and challenges into pragmatic target solutions
• Support the AI delivery cycle from PoC to production rollout
• Build trusted-adviser relationships and influence flexible design elements to achieve best outcomes
• Collaborate with business and engineering stakeholders to land aligned architectures

• Strong hands-on experience designing and governing solutions on Microsoft Azure (security, resiliency, cost)
• Proven ability to modernise application landscapes using contemporary architecture patterns
• Practical AI capability experience—identifying use cases and enabling/building AI solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management—clear storytelling and alignment across business and tech
