Solution Architect, Cybersecurity

Design and implement cybersecurity architectures to protect infrastructure, applications, data, and users. The role supports business initiatives and guides secure deployment in alignment with enterprise architecture principles.

Responsibilities

• Design endpoint protection, EDR/XDR, threat detection, response, SIEM, MDR, threat hunting, and SOAR capabilities.
• Architect security monitoring, log collection, analytics, incident workflows, threat intelligence integrations, and log retention.
• Design data protection controls, including encryption, secure storage, access controls, and endpoint DLP.
• Develop cloud security architectures covering CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP, container security, and related platforms.
• Produce security architecture documents for endpoint, network, infrastructure, cloud, application, identity, OT/IoT, and data security.
• Define IAM frameworks covering MFA, SSO, IGA, PAM, and identity threat protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent project-related experience.
• At least 10 years of IT experience, including seven years in security architecture or senior technical roles.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CCSP.
• Experience with security architecture, EDR/XDR, MDR, SIEM, SOAR, cloud security platforms, and enterprise security tools.
• Knowledge of IC*S*, OT/IoT security, and industrial environments is required.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with leadership and stakeholders, including those outside Quebec or who speak only English.
