Overview
You will shape the architecture for a new e-factoring platform and CRM within a fintech scale-up, ensuring high availability, security and performance. Partner with product and engineering to align strategic goals with delivery, guiding design decisions across a cross-functional team. You’ll drive end-to-end solutions for a fast-moving, acquisitions-led environment and help turn strategic direction into tangible architectures. This is a bleeding-edge role in central London offering strong training and exposure to financial services at scale.

- Lead Architecture and provide design leadership to meet strategic goals and project needs
- Design solutions ensuring availability, security, resilience and performance
- Perform early triage and shaping of IT initiatives for delivery planning
- Collaborate with Development Managers and engineering teams to foster a collaborative design process
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Support on new development and ongoing support
- Maintain strong relationships with product and engineering teams to share learnings and best practices
- 5 years commercial technical architecture experience
- Extension experience of Software Development in .Net/Java technology stacks
- Cloud experience with AWS (Azure or others considered)
- Experience leading and managing others
- Ability to translate strategic direction into end-to-end solutions
- Strong knowledge of agile project lifecycle methodologies
- Financial acumen to support business cases and design decisions
- Strategic thinking with operational execution and strong personal impact
