Solution Architect - Legal or Professional Services, Microsoft Stack (Apps, Cloud & Infrastructure) - Global

£85k - £100k + 10% bonus + excellent benefits

London (City) & 40% remote

We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise technology solutions within a professional services environment. Reporting into the Architecture function, you'll shape end-to-end solutions that align with business strategy, security requirements and architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own solution architecture across business and technology transformation programmes.
  • Produce and govern High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) .
  • Design solutions across applications, cloud, infrastructure, data and security.
  • Lead architecture workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Evaluate and implement COTS and SaaS solutions, with a preference for configurable platforms over bespoke software development.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security and governance standards.
  • Support vendor selection, technical decision-making and architecture assurance.

Essential Experience:

  • Solution Architecture experience within Legal Services , Professional Services or other complex, regulated & global environments.
  • Strong Microsoft technology background including M365, Azure, Power Platform in addition to COTS and SaaS solutions
  • Experience across: Application Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture & Integration Architecture
  • A technical background prior to moving into architecture (eg engineering, devops, DBA, networking)
  • Proven delivery of enterprise-scale technology solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (inc. presenting to non-technical stakeholder)
  • Experience producing architecture documentation including HLDs, LLDs and solution roadmaps.
  • Polished and confident communications skills
  • Experience of multi-vendor environments
