Solution Architect - Workday Transformation

Location: Reading or Dublin, with three days per week in the office.

Contract: 6 months.

Rate: Excellent Day Rate Available.

I'm recruiting for a Solution Architect to join a major enterprise transformation programme, focusing on Workday, HR technology and colleague experience. This 6-month contract offers the opportunity to shape architecture across strategic platforms, integrations and colleague-facing services, working on solutions that support a large, complex retail environment.

You’ll lead solution design from initial requirements through to delivery, ensuring systems are secure, scalable and aligned with wider enterprise architecture principles. A key focus will be Workday Learning, alongside identity management, integration strategy and the evolution of HR and colleague experience platforms.

Key Skills:

• Enterprise solution architecture and architectural governance
• Workday architecture, particularly Workday Learning
• HR technology and colleague experience platforms
• Integration architecture and API-led design
• Identity and access management, including SSO and MFA
• Entra ID and SailPoint
• Data architecture, ownership and system-of-record principles
• Solution blueprints, target-state designs and technology roadmaps
• Non-functional requirements, including security, performance and availability
• TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks
